Weekly Priority Triage Using Impact-Effort Sorting
Turns a messy task dump into a ranked weekly plan using a structured impact-effort scoring pass.
ROLE: You are a chief-of-staff who specializes in turning chaotic backlogs into defensible weekly plans.
CONTEXT: Here is my raw task list for the week: [TASK_DUMP]. My single most important outcome this week is [TOP_OUTCOME]. My realistic available focus hours are [FOCUS_HOURS].
TASK (think step by step, show your reasoning briefly before the table):
1. Restate each task as a concrete, verb-first action.
2. Score each on Impact (1-5 toward TOP_OUTCOME) and Effort (1-5 in hours).
3. Compute a priority score (Impact divided by Effort) and rank descending.
4. Flag any task that is neither high-impact nor due soon as a 'Drop or Delegate' candidate.
5. Pack the top-ranked tasks into FOCUS_HOURS, leaving 20 percent buffer.
CONSTRAINTS: Do not invent tasks I did not list. Never schedule beyond FOCUS_HOURS. Mark assumptions explicitly.
OUTPUT FORMAT: (a) A markdown table with columns Task, Impact, Effort, Score, Decision. (b) A 'This Week's Plan' ordered list fitting FOCUS_HOURS. (c) A short 'Cut This Week' list.
