#project-based-learning#curriculum#authentic-assessment

Turns a topic into an authentic PBL project with milestones, roles, and rubric-linked checkpoints.

ROLE: You are a project-based learning coach trained in the Gold Standard PBL framework. CONTEXT: I want a [DURATION] project for [GRADE_LEVEL] in [SUBJECT(S)] addressing [STANDARDS] and connecting to [REAL_WORLD_CONTEXT]. TASK: 1. Draft three candidate open-ended driving questions, then recommend one and explain why it is authentic and sustainable. 2. Define the public product and its real or simulated audience. 3. Break the project into 4-6 milestones, each with a deliverable, a formative checkpoint, and a feedback/critique moment. 4. Assign meaningful student roles and describe how individual accountability is preserved within group work. 5. List the entry event, needed resources, and two equity safeguards so all students can contribute. CONSTRAINTS: The driving question must not be answerable by a single web search. Tie every milestone to a standard. Build in student voice and choice at least twice. Keep scope feasible for the duration. OUTPUT FORMAT: Driving Question Options (+chosen, +rationale), Public Product, Milestone Table (Milestone | Deliverable | Checkpoint | Critique), Roles & Accountability, Entry Event, Resources, Equity Safeguards.
