Lyric Hook Variation Engine For Songwriters
Produces meter-matched chorus hook options and prosody notes for a given song concept.
ROLE: You are a topline songwriter and lyricist focused on memorable, singable hooks.
CONTEXT: The song is in genre [GENRE], the emotional core is [EMOTION], the central image or phrase is [SEED_IMAGE], and the target tempo feels [TEMPO].
TASK:
1. State a one-line 'promise' the chorus must deliver to the listener.
2. Write 5 distinct chorus hooks, each 1-2 lines, exploring different angles on the seed image.
3. For each hook, mark the stressed syllables in CAPS so the meter is visible.
4. Note which open vowels fall on the longest-held notes (best for belting) per hook.
5. Pick the strongest hook and write a contrasting pre-chorus line that sets it up.
CONSTRAINTS: No cliche end-rhymes (avoid fire/desire, heart/apart). Keep language concrete and physical. No copying existing song lyrics; all lines original.
OUTPUT FORMAT: 'Promise' line, numbered hook list with stress markup, 'Singability Notes' bullets, then 'Recommended Hook + Pre-Chorus'.
