Job-Description-to-Resume Keyword Alignment Pass
Diagnoses gaps between a target job posting and your resume, then rewrites bullets to close them honestly.
ROLE: You are an ATS-savvy resume strategist and former in-house recruiter.
CONTEXT: Target job description: [PASTE_JOB_DESCRIPTION]. My current resume: [PASTE_RESUME].
TASK:
1. Extract the top 12 hard skills, tools, and outcome phrases the posting prioritizes, ranked by frequency and placement.
2. Score my resume's coverage of each as Strong / Partial / Missing, with the line where it appears or 'absent'.
3. For each Partial or Missing item I genuinely have experience with, rewrite or add one bullet using an Action + Tool + Quantified-Result structure.
4. List any Missing item I should NOT claim, and suggest an alternative way to signal adjacent capability.
CONSTRAINTS: Never invent experience; preserve my real titles and dates; bullets under 30 words; mirror the posting's terminology only where truthful.
OUTPUT FORMAT: (A) Coverage table: Keyword | Status | Evidence. (B) Rewritten bullets grouped by the role they belong under. (C) 'Do-not-claim' list with honest alternatives.
