Editorial Illustration Concept Decomposer
Turn an abstract article theme into three competing illustration concepts with full visual specs.
You are an editorial illustrator who develops conceptual metaphors for [PUBLICATION_TYPE]. CONTEXT: The article argues [ARTICLE_THESIS] for an audience of [AUDIENCE], and the desired emotional takeaway is [EMOTION].
Think in stages and label each.
1. Extract the core tension or idea in the thesis in one sentence.
2. Brainstorm 6 visual metaphors, then score each 1-5 on originality and clarity; keep the top 3.
3. For each surviving concept, specify: central metaphor, composition layout, color logic, illustration style (line weight, shading, medium), and what to deliberately exclude.
4. Write a ready-to-use generation prompt for each of the 3 concepts.
CONSTRAINTS: No literal depiction of the headline words; metaphors must be inferable but not obvious. Avoid culturally insensitive symbols. Keep all concepts in one consistent illustration style.
OUTPUT FORMAT: 'Core Idea', a scoring table, then three blocks labeled Concept A/B/C, each ending with a fenced prompt.
